Art Class at Home: Review and Giveaway!–Closed!!

See the Light’s program brings the master teacher to you.

I am teaching algebra to my son this year. If you know me, you know this is a big deal. A couple of years ago, it would have made as much sense as saying, “Hey, look, I taught him to walk on the ceiling.” However, despite my newfound confidence in many subjects, art is still well beyond my expertise.

See the Light’s “Art Class” DVD program means I (and you) don’t have to teach art. Master Artist Pat Knepley is engaging and enthusiastic and she clearly loves to teach. Her very precise, gentle methods are not intimidating, even to a non-artist like me.

“Art Class – Volume 1: Lessons 1 – 4” includes lessons on the tools of the trade, contours and composition and more, all in a Christian context. Lessons are thorough and well paced. I think this program could be used for early elementary ages, up to and including adults.

This program is terrific for homeschools not only because the lessons are complete, but because the supplies needed are minimal. In fact, most of the items are probably on your child’s desk right now.

If you have been reluctant to add a regular art lesson to your homeschool, do give See the Light’s “Art Class” a try.

Would you like to win a copy of “Art Class – Volume 1: Lessons 1 – 4” for your family’s DVD library?

Congratulations Monica!

How exciting! We’ve been talking about trying to start some sort of classes for our homeschool group, but didn’t know where to start, really. Would love to win this!

Note To FaceBook Viewers: Comment must be left on the Heart of the Matter Site to count.
