Choose Your Own Ending Devotions: A Review
Posted by Karin | 0 comments
Pioneer Clubs partnered with Tyndale House Publishers to create The One Year Choose Your Own Ending Devotions Book that help reinforce Bible lessons through:
- A story
- Scripture reading and memory verse
- Questions to think about
- Prayer suggestion
- Suggested story ending to the devotional story
- Takeaway thought for the day
The devotional stories really help students think about how they can apply the bible’s truths to their everyday life and challenges. Unlike most devotional stories for children this book sets up a situation and leaves the ending unanswered so that your children can make up their own ending. If they get stuck there are some alternate endings in the back of the book! This is a great devotional for middle School students and children at least in the 2nd grade.
I was most impressed with the timely situations addressed throughout the devotional. What better way to teach our children to seek God’s answers in the bible, then to show them how His word can apply to the various situations and circumstances they are facing each day. By learning His Word and seeing how it applies to their every day life your children will gain the knowledge and confidence in God’s word they need to walk proudly in Christian faith.
A great devotional for groups, co-ops or even family devotional time.
