Ok, I choose two of these gifts. The first one is the fun and games. My family and I get together and game night is our best night of all. Second is the movies, especially during Christmas time when we all watch “It’s a Wonder Life”

I love these ideas!! For extended family we always try to do family gifts and these will add so much more pizazz and fun to them!! Thank you! I used the movie night idea for grad gifts this year,and they were a hit. I took a roll of tickets and made them into a bowl shape and then coated it with glow-in-the-dark mod-podge to seal it for a popcorn bowl.

These are wonderful ideas. I love the movie night/date night basket theme. We’ve used it several times, once with tickets to a play, once with a fun game for couples, once with gift card, and varied the candy, popcorn, etc. as needed. Wrap everything. It’s much more impressive. : )

Also one Christmas we wrote coupons for time shared together over the year and gave one special event to each family member (we’d been asked to donate money to our church in lieu of presents). My younger brothers got coupons for individual outings with my husband and me, my mother got a home cooked meal (her place or mine), and my father got an evening out with my mother (while we watched the kids–we have an average sized family with a huge age spread). Anyway, this was a hit from us, and they’ve requested it again!

I have given the Movie Night gifts before. I love giving them. My kids love it when someone gifts us with it. I love the Christmas Morning idea. I love baking. I would love to receive the Book Lovers one as well. Thanks for the ideas.

On the flip side, as the mother of six, those Movie Night gifts go a long way.
