Our mission is unique in the sense that we don’t just give you generic information to implement into your homeschool. We want to dig deeper. Our focus is on the bridging the gap between parents and children, a relationship designed by God. Whether you homeschool or not you will find real parents, real children, and real situations exposed so that you, the reader, can learn and grow from them. We ask you to take off the rose colored glasses and embark on an adventure in Godly parenting, growth, and joy. We want to educate the whole family… one act of love at a time.

In our quest to bring you the absolute best home school resource online, once a year, we will be providing you with a fun filled online adventure! Attendees can be inspired with motivational speakers, video tutorials, free products, question and answer sessions, and a vendor hall - all ONLINE! Heart of the Matter Reviews
With so many curriculum, book, and resources available it is sometimes hard to know what might be best for your family. Our team of reviewers take the guesswork out of that process for you by delivering reviews that present the good, the bad, and the practical aspect of each item we agree to review.

Heart of the Matter Unit Studies
Once a month Heart of the Matter Online teams up with our readers to present you with an exhaustive unit study on a chosen topic. Jennifer Steward will send a call out for submissions to the unit study early in the month and then compile all of the information into one complete study.

Heart of the Matter Book Club
The book club reads one chosen book per month and officially meets to discuss the book once during that month. For the duration the book is also discussed in the forums. Books are selected based on reader response and suggestions and ability to help the person grow spiritually.

Heart of the Matter Chat
Sometimes we just need a little chit-chat. But let’s face it, being a parent means being busy and we don’t always have time to just drop by a friend’s house for a cup of coffee. In response to this little dilemma, we’d like to introduce Heart of the Matter Chat! Cozy up to the table and grab a quick conversation with friends both old and new– and in real time! The chat room is open 24/7. We pray that this will be a little oasis of encouragement, fun and laughter in the course of your day.
