WOW! MARK YOUR CALENDARS NOW for one of these FIVE (5) GREAT Homeschool Conventions!
Slated for the first half of 2012, Great Homeschool Conventions will hold regional conventions in South Carolina, Tennessee, Ohio, California and Connecticut. Each convention features a HUGE Homeschool Curriculum EXHIBIT HALL. And, a simply outstanding FEATURED SPEAKER roster that includes speakers such as Chuck Colson, Andrew Pudewa, Diana Waring, Dr. Jay Wile, Amanda Bennett, David Hazel, Dr. Carol Reynolds, Todd Wilson, Sonya Shafer, John Stonestreet, Dr. Susan Wise Bauer, Pastor Tedd Tripp, John Rosemond, Dr. Jonathan Sarfati, Carl Kerby, Dr. Jobe Martin and dozens more!
With such a fantastic group of speakers, these conventions provide hundreds of information-packed homeschooling workshops—allowing attendees to choose the sessions that will be most helpful to their own family. This includes a wide variety of workshop topics covering subjects such as math, science, language arts, music and more—from elementary levels through high school. Special attention is given to learning styles, gifted children, special needs, unit studies, Classical homeschooling and Charlotte Mason methods of home education. Additionally, there are unique, optional “workshop tracks” that cover Christian Worldview, Creation Apologetics and Parenting.
Always engaging and though-provoking, the WORLDVIEW TEEN TRACK is immensely popular, and always attracts a large number of parents that enjoy these sessions as well. These sessions are led by staff and affiliated speakers from Summit Ministries of Colorado. 2012 speakers include Chuck Colson, Dr. Jeff Myers, John Stonestreet and Alex McFarland.
The PARENTING TRACK offered at these Great Homeschool Conventions is simply outstanding, and provides the opportunity to listen and learn from either Pastor Tedd Tripp (Shepherding a Child’s Heart) or John Rosemond (Parenting by The Book).
These conventions also feature a CREATION APOLOGETICS TRACK that is led by a stellar group of Young Earth speakers and authors that includes Dr. Jonathan Sarfati of Creation Ministries International, Dr. Jay Wile, Carl Kerby, and Dr. Jobe Martin.
On Friday evening, most convention attendees take a break with the optional COMEDY SHOW. The 2012 comedy festivities will be led by JOHN BRANYAN and LELAND KLASSEN. (John has toured extensively with Tim Hawkins, and Leland with Chonda Pierce)
John Branyan’s comedy may actually be hazardous to your health. I laughed so hard that I found myself wondering if I’d ever catch my breath again, and I was actually sore later from laughter. Journalists can be a tough room, but I’ve never seen our group laugh harder.

Finding your website was a gift! I am newly homschooling my special needs child and have been overwhelmed and often feel like I am sinking. Your website gave me information, support, and the calm I need to keep moving forward.
Thanks so much!
I am hoping the conference in South Carolina will be what I am looking for as well.

I must say that even after seventeen years of home schooling four children, I am still excited to see new and old faithful materials. I love to touch and turn pages, to investigate the names of books or companies I’ve read so many times before, to listen to encouraging speakers, to meet authors and celebrity home school leaders. I am wanting to go to a convention this year. Please draw my name!
