I am a daughter, granddaughter, sister, friend, wife to hubby of 11 years, and Mom to the 3 most amazing children on the planet. I am also a miser when it comes to shopping.
About 5 years ago, I began my search for living frugally and trying to save money at the grocery store. It began as a race with another lady as to who could save more with coupons/sales! (kinda fun, actually!) Each month, I learn new ways to save from other people. I like to combine that info with what I already do and see if I can make it save us more. Like many other homeschoolers, we are living on a tight budget, so it’s not only a game, it’s a way of life.
I would love nothing more than to know that someone out there can learn how to shop a little cheaper and save their family money to reach their financial goals. Being frugal with our money is one way that I am honoring God and passing on the wisdom in Titus 2.
I homeschool using a different variety of methods and like to combine shopping with home economics, budgeting, math, and “field trips”…(a trip to the grocery store does count as a field trip, right?)
