This is probably THE question I am asked most often. My answer; however is a simple “I really don’t know”. My philosophy is to continue homeschooling until the end or until I have a clear sense of change of direction. My goal is to lead the children on a path of self learning so that when they reach the highschool age, they can be part of the decision making themselves and take charge of their own learning. We have many options here in our province – kids can even partake in half time highschool/homeschool if they so desire. A wise individual recently counselled: start at the post-secondary institution the kids want to attend and work backwards in terms of entrance requirements – that should give one a clearer sense of direction if needed.

We love the outdoors too! Now that my boys are a little older we enjoy packing a lunch and taking our school work to a park. I love the fact that we do not have to stay indoors to do school.
