I think that's pretty funny, considering I'm heading into the 14th year of homeschooling. LOL Some other things that I would include are: snacks-- Having things ready to snack on definatly helps when the kids are hungry, but time is limited. lunch menu-- It's nice to know what's for lunch, before lunch time. ;o) Spiral Notebooks~~ I buy these by the box when the stores have their back to school sales. I actually still have 1/2 box full from last year. These come in handy for so many things throughout the year. Timer-- I have a son who can only focus for short periods of time and having a timer really helps. Another thing I use is a stick vac - I picked one up at Big Lots last year for about $20 - it's one less thing I have to have on my to-do list! The great thing about the stick vac is it converts to a dust-buster (you can take off the long handle and floor attachment) to clean-up anything! It's corded, so you never have to worry about the batteries running out. The kids think it's fun, and it really helps keep all the pet hair cleaned up every day.
