Week 5: 8 Ways to a More Organized Homeschool Carnival
Posted by admin | 0 comments
Welcome back to the FIFTH week of our 8 Ways to a More Organized Homeschool Carnival. This has been such a blast and I hope you all are learning just as much as I am. Week #5 is all about organizing your projects.
Remember, anyone can submit! We welcome posts, old and new. Everyone who submits a post will be entered for a chance to win an amazing prize package, currently valued at over $100!

- Tammy from Garden Glimpses shares her method for storing *stuff* while being discerning about what they save!
- Molly Green from Econobusters says “it isn’t difficult to keep our projects organized. However, I think the hardest part about keeping all of the papers and projects is having to declutter them every now and then. If I could, I’d hold onto every piece of schoolwork forever because it’s fun to watch my children progress as they learn!”
- Bethany LeBedz from Confessions of an Organized Homeschool Mom encourages us to pare down how much stuff we keep as far as old schoolwork for each child and where to keep it.
- Bethany also shares a second post on Papers, Papers Everywhere—Not! Or How and Why to Create a Portfolio.
- Twinkle Mom from Sunflower Faith shares some ways that “I have tried to use to organize the paperwork that seems to gather with homeschooling. Sometimes using several methods is a life saver, but other times it can be overwhelming, but the key is to keep flexible, remember nothing is set in stone and keep an eye out for what may work.”
- Lynn from Learning by Living shares her methods for organizing lapbooks, notebooks and the paper she uses to make them.
Don’t forget to send us your submissions for next week’s carnival: Organize your kitchen - menu planning, recipes, etc. Due by 4/8, posted 4/10. When submitting, please remember to follow the requested format explained here.
