So the conference is done but we sure would appreciate your feedback! This is the perfect place to touch base with those friends you didn’t have a chance to get info to keep in touch and tell us who your fave speakers were! For those who did not attend, we missed you and hope to see you at future events! Tell us how your week went!

Loved, loved LOVED Carol Topp and Karin Katherine’s talks!! The conference was awesome! I really hope that HOTM does a mid-year conference as was mentioned during the chats. (Though I’m kinda biased on that…I love the opportunity to take a break for ME during the school-year!!)

Looking forward to listening in on the recorded material!

I can’t pick just one speaker. They were all so good and I learned something from every one. This will get long and I’m sorry but I write like I talk – too much information.
Evonne Mandella – love the Hebrew lessons and my oldest was so excited he woke me up the next day to see if we were doing more Hebrew.
Sue Patrick – Such an innovator. I’ve attened TEACCH conferences on Structured Teaching but Sue’s ideas just really make the light bulb in go on.
Andrew Pudewa – I am sold on IEW. His talk made so much sense and gave me ideas I hadn’t thought of.
Karin Katherine – Love love love the information and here I thought I was the web woman.
Sarita Holtzman – made me understand that we need to give our children a heart for the world and ideas on how to accomplish that.
Shelia Wray Gregoire – Made me realize I need to challenge myself and my kids.
Dana Hanley – helped me understand that I need to put my education philosphy in writing.
Lee Binz – I missed her first talk – can’t wait for the Mp3′s. The second has me looking and planning for college and my oldest is in middle school. Excellent advice.
I missed Tiany as well as Brenda Bullard.
Carol Topp – I am convicted that I need to teach my children to handle money – so they won’t be like me.
Linda Hobar – it’s ok to compromise with planning. I love the dateless planner.
Graham Scharf – Just brilliant and thought provoking.
Anne Elliot – gave me ideas on how to use the Bible even more in our schooling.
Lisa Lewis – Inspired me to take the kids on weekly nature walks as soon as the weather permits.
Leah Nieman – helped me realize Science does not need to be overwhelming.
Cara Putnam – very inspiring and timely as I will have a teenager for the first time come October.
And Amy Bayliss I saved for last. It was Amy I got the most from. It was the message God wanted me to hear. I was convicted, uplifted and recharged all at once.
I can’t wait to do it all again. Thanks for everyone who attended and was involved. The fellowship was amazing.

I really enjoyed the sessions I was able to take in. Unfortunately for me, other things intervened and I wasn’t able to listen to some of the things I really wanted to hear, so I am greatly looking forward to the audios.
I just want to say that I was greatly encouraged after last year’s conference when I listened to the audios throughout the year–many of them on a 3 hour bus ride that I took 4 times during the winter, to help out my parents.
Thank you!

Karen, how awesome that you got to listen to the audios while driving to see your folks. Are they okay? Any prayers needed?

I was able to attend thanks to the Amies for their gracious gift to me. So are ya’all looking for a video from us?

I absolutely loved every minute of the conference that I could listen to. I can’t wait for the mp3′s of the sessions so that I can listen again. All of these speakers are indeed blessings from God.
Please read my post about my favorite speaker and presentation! You can read it here

Loved the 2 talks I was able to attend; Teach Using the Bible and Workboxes.
Unfortunately, the webconferences happened while I was running VBS at our church so I was not able to attend most of the events. I am looking forward to the recordings.
I would love a mid year conference!
THANKS!!!! YOU GUYS ARE DOING A FANTASTIC JOB!!!

There was just so much good stuff at the HOTMC. I enjoyed Shiela, Tiany, Anne Elliott, and so many more. Definitely worth the time and investment. Thank you to all the sponsors that helped make it affordable. I will attend each year!

Over the weekend I looked over my notes from the conference and realized I learned a key points from every single speaker. They were all excellent! Having this conference right before we begin our school year is a high boost to my enthusiasm for homeschooling
Thanks again for all the time and energy and resources it took to do this conference, Amies!

I totally missed the conference. I got many emails about it & went to the website to check it out, but I never could figure out WHEN it was being held. You might make sure the date is in all of your info next year. I’d like to attend.
