REVIEW: First & Favorite Bible Lessons for Preschoolers

First & Favorite Bible Lessons for Preschoolers is everything I’ve been looking for for my preschoolers, in one convenient book!

Although my children regularly attend Sunday school at our church, I wanted something that I could use with them at home that would be just as enjoyable for them as their Sunday school, provide hands-on activities and impress God’s word upon their hearts in a way that they could understand, and I could easily reinforce throughout our week.
This book contains 13 age-appropriate, multi-sensory, hands-on lessons of Bible truths that build a foundation for your child’s Christian education. Perhaps best of all, each lesson involves minimum prep time. For me, this makes a world of difference in my homeschool. There are so many things I’d like to do, but in truth it all boils down to what is easiest for me to implement. Not only is “First & Favorite Bible Lessons for Preschoolers” easy to implement, I like the Bible truths they promote and each lesson is truly an enjoyable teaching moment with my children. If you have a regular family fun time in your household, this book could be a great source of activities during your family fun time or devotional time.
The lessons contained in the book are suitable for children ages 3-5 and both large or small groups as well as large or small families. The goal of the book, is that in the process of completing the activities and lessons in the book, your preschooler will discover the truths of the Scripture themselves.
Each lesson contains:
God’s Message: a short, repeatable memory verse
Sing-a-long: A new song to a familiar tune that goes with the lesson’s message.
Bible Story: Memorable presentation of Bible stories, geared towards preschoolers.
Crafty Creations: Easy craft activities.
Classroom specials: special games, affirmations and activities that help children apply what they are learing to their life.
Snack time: Fun snack you can make with the kids
Closing: prayer, songs and other activities to further reinforce the lesson.
