What You Will Need:
Brown Tempera Paint
Glue
Scissors
White Artist Canvas or Posterboard
One Red Pom-Pom
Two Googly Eyes
One Pipe Cleaner
One Small Piece of Card stock or Construction Paper
Six Small Plastic Jewels
1. Make handprint with brown paint on canvas or posterboard.
2. Glue on ‘nose’.
3. Glue the eyes.
3. Cut the pipe cleaner into 3 pieces, twist 2 of the pieces around the ends of 1 to make ‘antlers’. Glue in place.
4. Cut card stock or construction paper into a rectangle. Glue in place.
5. Glue jewels in place.
Voila! You have a great piece of art to add to the mantle! You can also use this idea to:
- Make a card for Grandma!
- Add craft magnet to the back to stick on the fridge or filing cabinet.
- Cut out of construction paper and add a ribbon to make an ornament.
