Snap it Up! Math games
Posted by Karin | 0 comments
If you are looking for a fun math game to use to drill in addition, subtraction or multiplication facts—-you will want to play Snap It Up with your child/ren. This fast paced game really gets the math and thinking skills going as players try to come up with 2 cards (out of the 3 they play from in their hands) that match the sum card placed in the middle. If a player does not have cards that equal the sum they may discard any (or all) of the cards in their hand and select another card or cards from their own draw pile. The game is fast paced in that everyone plays at the same time. Once a player finds the cards that equal that sum they simply read it out (1 plus 7 equals
and say SNAP the first time they have a match, IT the second time they have a match, and UP the 3rd time they have a match. The first player to do that wins!
