The easiest and *funnest* way to attract birds

February 7, 2009 by AmyS

This is a very fun and easy “any time of the year” project. We have been making these since my son was a toddler.

  1. Spread a thin layer of peanut butter around an empty toilet paper or paper towel holder
  2. Roll it around in bird seed
  3. Press hard so that lots of bird seed coats the peanut butter.
  4. Slide the roll onto a branch of your chosen tree. The roll is usually licked clean within a day.
