I love scrapbooking and wish I had more time for it. I have been scrapping a little over 5 years now…and I probably work on something scrap related about 3 or 4 times a week. My biggest challenge when it comes to layouts is that I always want more photos on the layout than I have room for. I’m a fit all the photos in the scrapbook person rather than scrapping art. Thanks for the chance to win!

  2. Wellllllll…….I could make excuses and tell stories, but I won’t.
I’ve scrapped for a few years but with homeschooling I’ve turned to exploring digital and making more cards so that I can complete a project in a reasonable time. I’d LOVE to spend all day scrapping…..

    How fun!!
I’m going over to Tania’s site now..thanks for introducing us!
    peace,

After I swore I’d never join them crazy scrapbooking girls (my sisters)-they sucked me in about 7 years ago!! I try to scrap in the evenings when the kids are having their down time. On average it’s about once a wk.

I make my own cards, and scrap calanders for the grandparents each year. My favorite album to work on is the yearly one I do for ‘school’. It involves everyday learning moments, field trips, and all ‘school related’ things. I also do books for each of my boys (3) and a family book, Christmas album, etc. Having a seperate Christmas album is a real trip down memory lane to look back at each Christmas. I’ve also completed a few themed albums such as my wedding, etc…

My girls and I started scrapbooking about two years ago. We try to set aside one day a month just for scrapbooking. We have lots of fun. It would be great to learn some new scrapbooking skills.

My love of scrapbooking started 5 years ago, I think, through Creative Memories. I tend to be a scrapbook fanatic, for a season, and then I don’t touch it again for another season. I went away two years ago, with my sister, to a scrapbooking weekend. It was great!! :0) I got so much done and had a blast while doing it!! My girls, 17 & 14, also love to scrapbook, but they only do it when I do. It is a great hobby!! :0)

I started scrapbooking about 8 years ago. Since my second child came along (over 2 years ago!) and I started working from home part-time (6 months ago), I have put scrapbooking aside due to time constraints. I plan to pick it back up later next year when my toddler is a little older and less needy.

My first scrapbook was 2 years ago for my Dad’s 50th birthday. I did another for my Mom’s 50th the next year. I really enjoyed it & would love to make some for the kids. Finding time & getting pictures printed are my biggest challenges at this point. I would love to learn more ideas & techniques!

I have made scrapbooks for my kids since my oldest (9) was born. I make it my summer project and get the whole year done at once (with a little added in over Christmas / Easter breaks). This relieves all the guilt from not keeping up with it weekly. I’d love to learn new ways to make it more artful.

I’m a complete scrapbooking newbie. It started with digital scrapbooking & blog design. Then I thought “I can do this”.

I’m slowly building up my scrapbooking supplies.

Like all of my crafts, I can only do one at a time (knitting, beading, scrapbooking, photography)
With the holidays, photography’s taking the front seat :)

I scrapbook, am always looking for new items and techniques. I have been teaching my daughter the fun of scrapbooking, she is now really into it as well! We try to host scrap classes and get togethers with the other moms and their kids that are in our homeschool group. Its great to get them interested in their history and to journal their thoughts and feelings!

I have been scrapbooking for a couple of years now. Unfortunately I don’t get to scrapbook nearly as often as I would like to at the moment as I don’t have a scrapbook room or designated scrap area of my own and every time I go to scrap my 3 year old son is very keen to try his hand at everything I do. Helping him be creative often limits my time to get as much done as I would like but love the fact that he is keen to try evertyhing that I do. Thanks for offering a chance to have a place in your class. Sounds like it should be heaps of fun. Always great to have the opportunity to learn new technqiues. Not having a drivers license and being able to get out and about to attend scrapbooking classes I am always grateful for the chance to learn new things online with others.

I love scrapbooking – it’s relaxing and addicting. Our whole family has scrapbooked together when we worked on a trip album that two of our kids took to Australia a few years back. It was fun to see the differences between the guys and girls. I have to confess that the last few years have zoomed by and I’ve not SB in 2 years. Life with homeschooling and teens, and being sick this year really took a tole on time. Looking forward to getting back into it! Great idea for a class.

I made my first scrapbook about 7 years ago to document the first year of my first child’s life. Did a similar scrapbook for second child. While working on that scrapbook, I found that I had similar pictures of the two in similar poses, similar places, etc. so I created a sibling scrapbook based on those photos. It was a neat book because the kids are 23 months apart and first one’s a girl, the second a boy. I’ve done preschool scrapbooks for the kids as well. The last scrapbook I did was a chronicle of my first child’s kindergarten year. We did lots of fun things, and now the second one will be a kindergartner. Hope I will have time to complete a book for him as well. I guess I only do occasional scrapbooking, when I want to document a special year. For family vacations, I’ve done digital scrapbooking so that I can have stuff downloaded and printed as photobooks for the grandparents (who often tag along on our trips). This giveaway sounds great and it’d be nice to win.

I made my sons baby scrap book 10 years ago. I then purchased a scrapbook for my daughter who is now 9. Unfortunately it is still in the plastic wrapper. I am a fabricaholic. I love to sew, I love the remnant bins at fabric stores, all my friends give me fabric scraps, etc. If I could somehow combine my love of fabric with scrapbooking it might just get done! This giveaway would be perfect for me.
