Women of the Old Testament: 14 in-depth bible studies for Teens

Women of the Old Testament: 14 in-depth bible studies for Teens by Barbara Frank is a unique Bible study curriculum that encourages mothers and their teen daughters to explore the lives of Old Testament women and Biblical concepts and and then apply it to their modern day lives.  In this book, students work their way through each story, answering basic questions and writing short essay answers to help them comprehend what they’ve read.  An answer key is in the back of the book, showing where each answer can be found in the Bible.
Homeschooling mothers will be interested to know that Barbara Frank (also a home educator) wrote the study for her then 13-year old daughter, and because of how much fun they had doing the study together, she decided to make it available to all homeschooling families.
The book includes studies on:
Eve
Sarah
Rebekah
Rachel and Leah
The Midwives, the Princess and Miriam
Rahab
Deborah and Jael
Ruth
Hannah
Abigail
Bathsheba
The Shunammite Woman
Jezebel
Esther
The format is that of a workbook, but if you have more than one teen you may want to have them write their answers in a journal or separate notebook so that the book can be reused.
